Project Overview
This 36X82FT residential Sport Court with Power Game surfacing was converted into a natural ice rink this winter season. We started out by excavating the area, then we bring in A-gravel and level it out to make a sub-base. We then begin to form the court in order to pour the concrete pad. Once the concrete pad is fully set we begin to build the court by laying our SportCourt tile, then installing our systems and ball containment to follow. Lastly we paint any lines in any colour that the customer is wanting. For the winter season our team comes in and builds a rink onto the court (if the customer approves). Sport Court uses pressure treated lumber and puck board to build the hockey ready boards. We then use our liner and yellow kick for a water tight seal. We use a water truck to fill the rink to the desired ice thickness. All that is needed is cold weather and the rink is ready to be used by adults and children for 12 month of the year enjoyment.
